After taming India in the T20I series in their own backyard, a spirited unit of England women will next tour another Asian side in Sri Lanka for 3 ODIs and 3 T20I series which kick-starts from March 16. First up are the three One-dayers where the first two ODIs will take place in Hambantota and the last fixture on March 21 will be played at the Air Force Ground in Katunayake.

Sri Lanka women in this series are going in with more experienced players with all-rounder Hansima Karunaratne and the spin duo of Sugandika Kumari and Inoshi Priyadarshani making their way into the squad. They have left-out Tharika Sewwandi, Imalka Mendis and Umesha Thimashini who were a part of this set-up in the South African tour.

England have almost the squad at their helm which traveled India and are one-confident unit for sure. They played a warm-up match against Sri Lanka women emerging team whom they tamed mercilessly by 153 runs which will definitely help them set the tone for the series.
