DC stuns Knight Riders in Super Over

The Feroz Shah Kotla went wild on Saturday night as Kagiso Rabada helped Delhi Capitals snatch 2 points from Kolkata Knight Riders after successfully defending the lowest ever IPL super-over total.

Put Into bat first, KKR were reduced to 61-5 when A Russell (62 of 28) and D Karthik (50 of 36) resurrected the innings to post 185-8 on the board. In reply, Delhi’s run chase was powered by Prithvi Shaw’s 99 and S Iyer’s 43. In the last over, DC required 6 runs to win the contest but Kuldeep Yadav pulled out an absolute beauty and gave away just 5 runs to end the battle on a tie.

In the Super Over, Delhi Capitals managed 10/1 off Prasidh Krishna’s over while KKR scored 7/1 off Kagiso Rabada’s ferocious yorkers.
