Windies vs Pakistan DREAM11 GRAND LEAGUE TEAM | Windies vs Pakistan | ICC CWC 2019 |Who Will Win Today Match
Nottingham, May 31, Friday at 03:00 PM IST
Windies will kick start their ICC World Cup 2019 campaign against Pakistan on Friday when both the sides will square off at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The Carribean side will seek inspiration from their thumping 91 runs win over New Zealand in the warmup games while Pakistan will be hoping to break their losing streak of 10 ODIs and start the campaign on a high.
Although Pakistan is low on confidence and has faced 10 straight ODIs defeat, their record in England and in multi-national tournaments is formidable. Remember the 2017 Champions Trophy that took place in England? It validates that they can’t be easily written off, no matter the current form. Pakistan’s 15-man squad is one of the balanced sides in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The side has amalgamated the experience and young talent evenly in both batting and bowling.
While F Zaman, Babar Azam, and Imam Ul Haq are the power hitters in the side, Shoaib Malik, Haris Sohail and Mohammad Hafeez bring in the experience middle order. In the bowling, Pakistan has Wahab Riaz who brings in the experience to the side. His reverse-swing yorkers at a searing pace in death overs will be pleasing to watch.
Windies, on the opposite, showcased how they can cause upsets on their day. Windies smashed 421 runs to the same bowling attack which folded India at mere 179. Bolstered with plenty of power-hitters and pace batteries, Windies only weak link appears in the department of spinners.

WI VS PAK DREAM11 GRAND LEAGUE TEAMS
Team 1 & 2: The top order on the fire
Both the sides boast a formidable top-order. While Windies have Chris Gayle, Shai Hope, Evin Lewis in their top order, Pakistan’s top order comprising of Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Imam Ul Haq is in fine form for a couple of months.
Imam Ul Haq has scored six hundred in 28 ODIs and averages 60.30
Shai hope has moved to No. 04 in ODI Rankings and has been in impressive form for almost two years.
Also, Pakistan’s top order has an average of 48.21 in 38 matches including 16 hundred and 21 fifty since ICC 2017 CT.
Team 3 and 4:Â All-rounders at work
Andre Russell – Russell’s current IPL form and last warmup game’s 25-ball 54 makes him a game changer for Windies. The all-rounder has played 3 games against Pakistan and averages 45.00 with the bat.
Jason Holder – Holder smashed 47 off 32 deliveries in the warmup game against New Zealand. Earlier, he had an impressive outing for Northamptonshire in Royal London One Day Cup. IN 5 innings, he smashed 284 runs at an average of 71.00 and also bagged 7 wickets in 3 innings.
Team 5 & 6: X factors –
Chris Gayle-Â Gayle has amassed 944 runs in 34 innings against Pakistan. His current form is even more formidable. The Universe Boss has slammed 424 runs in 4 innings at an average of 106.00 in 2019. Also, Chris Gayle has played three innings at Trent Bridge – 37, 60* and 82.
M Amir- Although Amir’s bowling has lacked lustre since his three wickets haul in Champion Trophy final in 2017, with the overcast conditions and swing bowling capabilities, he can be dreadful against Windies. In the 14 ODIs since the final, Amir has taken just five wickets at an economy of 4.58, going wicketless in nine innings. He is a dark horse for the clash.
Babar Azam-Â Babar Azam’s last six innings against Windies – 16, 125*, 13, 117, 123 and 120. In last six innings, he has slammed four centuries and will be the game changer for Pakistan
