After facing 36 runs defeat against India, the defending champions Australia will look to return back on track with a win when they face off Pakistan at Taunton on Wednesday.

Australia was soaring high on confidence with 10 consecutive wins but fell short by 36 runs while chasing 353 runs total set by India in their third fixture at The Oval. It was Australia’s first defeat in the tournament as Kangaroos clinched victories in starting two games against Afghanistan and Windies.

On the other hand, Pakistan stunned everyone with their 14 runs win over the hosts England in the second encounter after being thumped by Windies by 7 wickets in the opening fixture. Their third encounter against Sri Lanka got washed out and the Men In Green will be looking to carry their momentum against Kangaroos.
