Afghanistan vs New Zealand DREAM11 GRAND LEAGUE TEAM | Afghanistan vs New Zealand | ICC CWC 2019
Taunton, June 08, Saturday at 06:00 PM IST
Friday’s second clash in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will witness New Zealand and Afghanistan squaring off at Taunton in the evening. Both the teams will lock horns at The Cooper Associates County Ground.
New Zealand have won both their encounters against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and will look to make a hat-trick of wins when they face injury-hit Afghanistan on Friday.
Afghanistan faced a big blow when the start opener and wicketkeeper M Shahzad got ruled out of the remainder of the tournament following a knee injury. With 1843 runs in 55 innings, M Shahzad has been Afghanistan’s second highest run-scorer in one-day internationals since World Cup 2015.
Afghanistan had a poor start to the tournament losing both their opening games against Australia and Sri Lanka. They need to cope up and bounce back in style to keep their campaign alive.
The match will begin at 06:00 PM IST.
