Australia XI vs New Zealand XI 2nd Match Preview | Who Will Win Today Match
Australia XI host New Zealand XI in the 2nd game of the 3-match pre-world-cup warm-up series. Australia won the first game, but the result would hardly exude any sort of confidence in the Baggy Green as the result could have swung either way. Nevertheless, the hosts will be aiming for another win, regardless of how it comes.
That said, with the world cup spots up for grabs, some players have a lot of work to do to nail down their place in the final XI. David Warner will no doubt be vying one of the opening slots, and after Usman Khwaza’s no-show and his own blistering 39, the discussion is still up in the air about who should partner Aaron Finch in the world cup.
Former national selector Mark Waugh believes David Warner must open for Australia at the upcoming World Cup. https://t.co/3eawbBCGKB pic.twitter.com/EJgfaocbF7

There shouldn’t be such issues about the bowling department though. As Pat Cummins, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Jason Behrendorff all looked in incredible form, picking up three wickets each in the match.
New Zealand meanwhile can take a lot of positives from the first game. For one reason that they ran Australia close despite not being at full strength. Captain Kane Williamson, and first team bowlers Trent Boult and Mitchell Santner are all on IPL duty.

AUS-XI vs NZ-XI Dream11 Team: Fantasy picks and top performers.
- Aaron Finch – He can make a difference, on any given day and against any bowling attack in the world. There are other reasons for selecting him in your fantasy Dream 11 team.
1. He scored a fifty in Game-1 and against a depleted New Zealand attack, he is more than capable of bettering that score in Game-2 as well. - David Warner – Forced to slide into obscurity for one year, his comeback has been unexpectedly phenomenal. The numbers he stacked up in IPL this season were too good to match even for most highly-talented regular players. He scored 39 in Game-1 and should be in your Dream11 team.
Game changer for Australia:
Nathan Coulter-Nile: Though, replacing Shane Watson in the playing 11 may take some years, but Nathan Coulter-Nile may play perform a two-way job for the four-time World Champions. He may not have the batting talent of Watson, but he is a far better bowler than him, while his contribution down the order is an asset.
While in the bowling, Pat Cummins and Jason Behrendorff are a must.
New Zealand XI-
Henry Nicholls and George Worker both failed to open the scoring in Game-1 with Will Young and Tom Blundell both scoring a fifty each to start a fight-back.
Nicholls is a good batsman and a proven talent at the top-level. He will be itching to put things back on track in Game-2.
Matt Henry picked up 3 wickets in the last game.
