AUS vs IND Dream11 1st ODI Match Prediction | Who Will Win Today Match
Hyderabad, March 02, Saturday at 01:30 PM IST
So, after facing 2-0 drubbing at the hand of Kangaroos in the shortest format of the game, the Men in Blue look to bounce back as they host the visitors at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday noon in the first of the five-match ODI series. The clash is set to begin at 01:30 PM IST.
The final five ODIs
These are the final five ODIs the Men In Blue have in their kitty to fine-tune their preparations for the biggest cricket carnival – CWC 2019. Although there’s IPL 2019 ahead of the World Cup, the series comes as a final chance for the players to seal their part. India skipper Virat Kohli said that he is not too bothered with the T20I series loss as the focus is on the CWC 2019, so here comes the chance for the reality check.

KL Rahul is once again in the big picture on the back of his two crucial knocks – 50 in 36 balls and 47 in 26 balls and it is left on the selectors now whether he travels with the side as a reserve opener or a No. 4 backup. On the other side, with Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami returning back to the ODI squad, Rishabh Pant, Vijay Shankar and Siddarth Kaul will take the series as a pre-test for the World Cup squad. Although the hosts once again look stronger, it will be interesting to watch who makes an impact this time.
Australia enjoying the momentum
The Kangaroos look in no rush as they still have a 5-match ODI series against Pakistan as their last assignment before the Cricket World Cup 2019. After finishing off this assignment, Australia will fly to UAE to lock horns with Pakistan. So, basically, they have ten ODIs in the bag to get to the final combination. They would be glooming with the confidence after sealing their maiden T20I series in India and would be looking to carry forward the momentum. It will be exciting to watch Glenn Maxwell, who was outstanding in the shortest format, bat up the order but let’s see where he gets to bat. Till then, let’s have a look at the current run of both the sides and team news.
An outstanding knock of 113* from Maxwell guides the visitors to a 7-wkt victory in the second T20I.

Fantasy picks from Australia-
In batting, the onus will be on Aaron Finch, Usman Khwaja, Alex Carey and P Handscomb.
M Stoinis and G Maxwell will be the best in all-rounders. Maxwell slammed a century in a winning cause in 2nd T20I and scored a fifty in the first T20I.
N Coulter-Nile was the best in bowling for the visitors in T20I series and is expected to carry on the same in ODIs. However, he is slightly doubtful.
Jhye Richardson, Pat Cummins and Adam Zampa will be the other crucial bowlers for the Kangaroos
Fantasy picks from India-
The top order will be the key for India. Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will be the one responsible for bulk scoring.
KL Rahul was outstanding in the T20I series and has high chances of playing. He is expected to be roped in place of Ambati Rayudu with Kohli slipping to 4th position
Jasprit Bumrah, M Shami, Kuldeep Yadav and Y Chahal will be the four frontline bowlers for India.
Kedar Jadhav and V Shankar can be used as fifth and sixth bowling options
V Shankar had a favourable outing with bat and ball in the recently concluded T20I series
