Thakur has now scored half-century in both the innings and Pant who looked out of form finally came out of his shell to hit a 50 as well.

When will Indian team declare their innings?

The middle-order and lower-order of the Indian team has performed quite well in this series. After gaining confidence from Shardul Thakur’s innings, Jasprit Bumrah and Umesh Yadav are playing well and have stitched a fine partnership of 30+ runs.

With a lead of 346 runs, the Indian team is at advantage position and have a decision to declare the innings to make their case for winning the test match. It is expected that Bumrah and Umesh Yadav will be instructed to bat for 1 more hour and accumulate as much runs as possible and then the Indian team will declare their innings.
