The 4th Test between England and India is grabbing eyeballs of each Cricket fan due to the intense competition between both the teams. The England team have been little disappointing with their fielding effort and have given chances to the Indian batters in this test. But their bowlers have been relentless with their accurate bowling. The lengths have been impeccable by the England pacers like James Anderson and Chris Woakes.
India Play out the Session 1 Well
With conditions not favourable for the batters on the Day 3 of the 4th Test match, KL Rahul and Rohit applied themselves well and played cautiously in the Session 1. The pair scored 40 runs in the first session 1 before KL Rahul was out caught behind by wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow off James Anderson’s clinical bowling.

The England pacers have been impressive in their line-lengths and did not give enough room to the both the openers of the Indian team. The weather conditions have also helped them to maintain pressure force Indian batsman to make a mistake. Apart from Anderson and Woakes, the team has Robinson and Moeen Ali who have a fine experience with the red-ball.
Can Rohit Sharma and Pujara provide a platform for Indian team?
The Indian team has taken the lead in the 2nd innings after trailing 99 runs. The opener Rohit Sharma after stitching partnership of 83 runs with KL Rahul is playing well and is looking quite confident to score more runs. Alongside him is Cheteshwar Pujara who has started his innings positively and has surprisingly hit a six as well.

With a rock solid technique, Pujara will look to replicate the same performance as of the last test to help the team and give confidence to the next batters like Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane. While, Jadeja and Pant would need to contribute enough in this crucial juncture of the series.
