ENG vs IND, 3rd Test Live Score England at 21/0 Tea on Day1 after bundling out India for 78 runs

The third Test match between England and India kick-started today at Headingley, Leeds. After winning the toss and opting to bat, the Virat Kohli-led side didn’t have the greatest of the first session as they lost 4 wickets for just 56 runs. The hosts came out all guns blazing in the post-lunch session and took the remaining 6 wickets to bowl India out for just 78 runs in the first innings.
England bundle India out for 78 runs
Team India woes continued in the post-lunch session as Rishabh Pant just in the fourth over after Lunch nicked one of off Ollie Robinson which saw a half of the Indian side back in the dressing room. The duo of Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja tried to settle the Indian innings but their 46-ball partnership perished after the former for the third in the series fell to the pull shot.

Rohit Sharma’s dismissal saw Mohammad Shami on the crease and the latter bagged a golden duck. If this was enough Sam Curran in the very over removed Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah on the two successive deliveries to leave the Virat Kohli-led side in all sorts of troubles.
The fast bowling duo of Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Siraj tried hard but only managed 11 runs for the last partnership as Craig Overton removed latter to bundle India out for just 78 runs in the first innings of the third Test match at Leeds.

ENG vs IND Live: England openers negotiate the tricky phase
The new opening pair for England in Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed took hosts off the flyer and negotiated the tricky phase of 7 overs before the tea. The duo was very watchful and kept ticking the scoreboard at regular intervals. Among both the openers Hameed played the aggressive role and kept scoring boundaries. At Tea on Day 1, England are 21/0 with both the openers looking solid. Burns is unbeaten at 3 while Haseeb has so far scored 15 runs.
