The veteran pacer drew the first blood by dismissing Rohit Sharma for 83 and then dismissed the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane for low scores. The 39-year-old then wrapped Indian tail in no time to scalp his 31st five-wicket haul in Test matches.

At one stage, India were 276/3 and a total of 400 was looking bare minimum. However, Anderson’s brilliance refuted their plans and allowed the Three Lions to stage a comeback in the second Test match.
