DC has been hot & cold this season. Delhi Capitals aren’t performing the way they have been in the last two seasons. Rishabh Pant has been a total flop with the bat and the same goes for Lalit Yadav who seems like playing ODI cricket instead of T20. Lalit’s strike rate is below par according to T20 standards. He has been doing decent with the ball, but with the bat, Lalit needs to step up otherwise he may face the axe from the eleven.

Mitchell Marsh will get a go again. Mitchell Marsh hasn’t been at his best in the two matches he has played so far. The team management will show their trust in the Aussie all-rounder and continue to back him for another 2-3 matches to get back in form.

Lalit Yadav hasn’t been striking the ball the way it should be done in T20 cricket. Ripal Patel, Ashwin Hebbar, and KS Bharat are waiting in the wings to get their chance. Ripal is a handy seamer as well and could slot in for Lalit Yadav as an all-rounder. Also, there is no news over Anrich Nortje’s fitness. Delhi Capitals are looking after his fitness and would want the Proteas pacer to get back into the groove and play for the franchise to take them deep into the competition.
