Team India all set for WTC Final: India will be taking on New Zealand in the finals of the ICC World Test Championship finals in a matter of days, as the world awaits to witness their first ever title winners.
The Indian team are in Southampton, and will be starting preparations for the mega event. However, as confirmed by left arm spinner Axar Patel, the team will serve a three day hard quarantine before they officially start their training at the Aegeas Bowl.
“I had a good sleep…the plan is to quarantine. We have been told that we can’t meet each other for three days so we will quarantining for that much time”, Patel was quoted saying in a video posted by the BCCI.

Both the men and women’s team have traveled together. The men’s team have the WTC Final, which will be followed up by the five match Test series against England. Meanwhile, the Indian women’s team have a one off Test versus England, as well as three ODIs and three T20I.

The WTC Final will take place from June 18 to 22 with an additional sixth day to determine the result if the need arises. The five match Test series against hosts England then begins on August 4.
