WTC Final: Highlights for Day 2 of Team India Intra-Squad Match

Intra Squad Match Highlights: Team India are preparing themselves for the much hyped WTC Final against New Zealand by contesting in an intra-squad four day Test. Yesterday, it was Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill and Ishant Sharma who were the standout performers on Day 1, today the likes of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Wridhiman Saha and Umesh Yadav were seen giving it their all in the video posted by the BCCI.

Within weeks time, Virat Kohli and his men will be up against New Zealand. The date scheduled for the World Test Championship Final is from June 18-22, and will be hosted at the Ageas Bowl Stadium, in Southampton.

New Zealand as of now, are up against hosts England in the second Test. The first match ended as a draw, but the Kiwis now have firm grip in the ongoing Test.

England scored 308 in the first innings, as Trent Boult and Matt Henry chipped in with four and three wickets each respectively. New Zealand followed it up by posting a score of 388, as Devon Conway, Will Young and Ross Taylor all scored half centuries.

Talking about the current circumstance, England are toiling at 122/9 with a meager lead of just 37 runs. This time it was Matt Henry and Neil Wagner who led the pack with three wickets apiece. By the look of things, New Zealand are anticipated to win the game and the series on Day 4. That being said, they will be taking plenty of confidence heading into the WTC Final.
