WTC Final Date: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the WTC final date. ICC announced on Wednesday that the final of the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) will take place between June 7th and June 11th, 2023, at The Oval in England. The WTC final is the climax of the Test cricket calendar and is a week-long celebration of the longest format of the game. The final marks the end of two years of intense competition in the ICC World Test Championship, which has seen 61 Test matches played across 24 series to date.

For India to qualify for the WTC final, they must win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, which comprise of four Tests (irrespective of the margin) starting from February 9 in Nagpur. A win for Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy will mean South Africa, who are scheduled to play two Tests against West Indies will have a golden chance of setting a final date with Australia. Sri Lanka, who are third in the standings, and South Africa, who are fourth. Sri Lanka and South Africa will take on New Zealand and the West Indies, respectively, over two two-Test series in February and March.
