Vijay Shankar hit on toe during training session
A middle-order batsman who can grind attacks and bowl medium-pace, Vijay Shankar is was hit on toe during a training session on Wednesday, Jasprit Bumrah yorker struck Shankar on his toes and it seems that he was in pain.
UPDATE – Vijay Shankar was hit on his right forearm during practice on Friday. He underwent scans and no fracture has been detected. BCCI Medical Team is aiding him in his recovery pic.twitter.com/47ufzHtLX7

A team source informed PTI that there’s nothing to worry as of now.”Yes, Vijay was in pain but it has subsided by the evening. Hopefully, there’s nothing scary,” the source said.
The injury list
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has already been given at least eight day time to recover from a hamstring strain and is eyeing England game for return. Team India plays England on June 30 in Birmingham. The team management is hopeful that Bhuvneshwar will be available for the fixture.
Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the tournament because of his thumb fracture.
