Will be surprised if Kohli doesn’t confront: Cummins

At the same time the pace bowler said that he heard the Indian skipper say in the media the other day that he won’t confront but Cummins admitted that he will be surprised if Kohli doesn’t. He explained that Kohli is so competitive, he really thrives on that.

Cummins explains Australia’s preparations

Recently Faf du Plessis said that South Africa gave the silent treatment to Kohli to prevent him from scoring big runs. When asked about this, Cummins said that it might be something to talk about once they get the Test squad together and talk about how they want to play and their plans for individual batsmen.

He also noted that to be honest, he does what works best for him. He explained that it’s getting himself fired up or getting himself focused, it’s more getting the best out of himself than trying to put a batsman off or anything.

Team India will be playing three ODIs, four Tests and three T20Is against Australia. The first T20I will be played on November 21.
