The prize money has been doubled for the winner of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 with respect to the 2017 edition in England. While the runner up will also receive a little less than double appreciation in their amount. The total winning amount also has increased from 15 Crores to 26 Crores.

The teams losing the semi finals will also receive the amount of 2.25 Crores each. While the four teams getting eliminated in the group stage will get an amount of around 52 Lakhs. The teams will get 18 Lakhs for winning each group stage match will get as well.
ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup to Start on March 4
The Women’s ODI World Cup will kick off from March 4 in New Zealand, with the 6 venues being shortlisted to host the tournament. In the 2022 edition, a total number of 28 teams will participate in a round robin format. The New Zealand team will be facing West Indies team in the first fixture of Women’s ODI World Cup 2022.
