Windies opening batsman Chris Gayle has returned for Jozi Stars and will feature in their remaining matches in the Mzansi Super League. The left-hand batsman’s presence will boost the franchise which has gained form after a poor start in the tournament.
Looking forward to the match: Gayle
Chris Gayle will feature for Jozi Stars for the crucial match against Cape Town Blitzon on December 04th. In a press conference ahead of the match, Gayle said that Jozi Stars are actually peaking at the right time.
He believes it is good to have a win under their belt and he is looking forward to tomorrow, up against top guns. He is hopeful that they can continue to win.
Speaking about his approach to the game, the Windies batsman said that he shares his point of view and keeps it as simple as possible. He explained that not everyone is a power hitter, and not to say you are going to try to hit sixes like Chris Gayle. But he believes there are ways and means to get the strike-rate up when to take on a bowler and pull the trigger.

You should be wary of Hendricks instead of me: Gayle
In the press conference, Gayle appreciated Reeza Hendricks who has scored two hundreds in a row. He stated that people keep mentioning his name, but it should actually be Hendricks that everyone should be wary of.
The left-hand batsman noted that he would love Hendricks to make it three in a row and that will be nice to see.

Gayle: The T20 superstar
The Windies batsman remains one of the most prolific run-scorers in T20 format. His flamboyant personalty and terrific six-hitting ability has made him a crowd-puller and one of the biggest superstars of cricket’s shortest format. His inclusion will boost Star’s batting.
