SA Playing 11: A confident South Africa will face West Indies in the 4th T20I with an aim to clinch the series. Despite being down-and-out in the first game, the Proteas came back strongly by taking the next two games. They have successfully defended below par totals in their last two matches which will give them plenty of confidence. SA leads WI in overall head-to-head record 8-5. In T20I rankings too, they are ranked 6th as compared to Windies’ 10th position.
Aiden Markram’s inclusion proved to be a useful change in the last game. With series nicely placed for the visitors, they are likely to retain the winning combination.
SA Playing 11 (likely)
Quinton de Kock (wk)
Reeza Hendricks
Temba Bavuma (C)
Aiden Markram
Rassie van der Dussen
David Miller
George Linde
Kagiso Rabada
Anrich Nortje
Lungi Ngidi
Tabraiz Shamsi
After a one-run victory, South Africa will believe they can win from any situation. de Kock has led the way at the top giving good starts while rest of the top order have contributed their bit. Miller’s form will be a concern as SA have lacked the late overs flourish. Fast bowlers will be crucial here as rain is expected for the match. Shamsi has been highly impressive with his variations and has kept WI’s big hitters in check.
