WI vs PAK: West Indies will lock horns with Pakistan in the second T20I match on 31 July at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The first T20I of the four-match series got abandoned due to rain. This is a very important series for both the teams to test different permutations and combinations for the all-important ICC T20 World Cup scheduled to be held later this year.
Romario Shepherd added to West Indies squad
The host Windies team have included all-rounder Romario Shepherd in their 13-member squad for the second T20I against Pakistan. The likes of Fabian Allen, Andre Russell, Fidel Edwards, Sheldon Cottrell, Obed McCoy and Lendl Simmons have been rested for this game.

Romario Shepherd made his T20I debut in January 2020 against Ireland and has taken two wickets in 2 innings. In his domestic career, the seam bowling all-rounder has picked up 25 wickets from 24 T20 matches at an economy of 8.23.

For West Indies, the duo of Evin Lewis and Andre Fletcher will open the batting while Chris Gayle will bat at No.3. The likes of Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, skipper Kieron Pollard and Jason Holder will form part of the middle-order. It will be interesting to see whether Romario Shepherd is part of the West Indies playing XI or not. The trio of Hayden Walsh, Dwayne Bravo and Akeal Hosein are certain to be a part of the side. The final competition will be between Kevin Sinclair and Romario Shepherd.
