West Indies squad for WI vs IND: In an important news development, West Indies have announced their squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series at home against India. The Windies Cricket are all set to host India for a three-match ODI series which will be followed by as many as five T20I matches. West Indies will be taking on India in the first ODI encounter on 22 July, 2022 (Friday) at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The Cricket West Indies (CWI) have announced a 13-man squad for the upcoming three-match home ODI series against India. The big update is the return of senior all-rounder Jason Holder in the ODI team after having missed the previous home series against Bangladesh where the hosts suffered a disappointing 0-3 drubbing. Left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie has retained his spot in the side after having earned his maiden call-up during the ODI series against Bangladesh where he ended up picking as many as 6 wickets. Both Anderson Phillip and Romario Shepherd have been dropped from the previous ODI squad.
