After a gruelling season, and a competitive one, the top four teams in the competition have qualified to the next stage, playoffs. All the four teams have been brilliant at various instances in the tournament and have clearly outperformed the rest of the 6 teams in the competition. The likes of RCB and LSG were tactically shrewd and have outplayed the opposition teams even before stepping on to the field with their excellent strategies for each opposition player, and that’s why they are into the playoffs apart from an excellent masterclass at the auction table by both RCB and LSG.

RCB to win IPL 2022
Royal Challengers Bangalore were the most efficient team at the auction table. All they cared was about the current season without thinking too far ahead and assembled a team that had the potential to go all the way through. RCB were extremely clinical with their wins, the fact is that they have massively underperformed with the kind of team they had under their disposal. RCB should have won 10 games atleast in the league stage and must have played the qualifier 1 but due to some off days for their bowlers, they had to play the eliminator.
RCB have the best think tank in Freddie Wilde and Mike Hesson, who are mastermind tacticians and the opposition teams stand no chance against a team that has such a strong structure.
Highest Paid Player in IPL 2022
RCB dropped Mohammed Siraj and played Siddharth Kaul in their last league game against Gujarat Titans but it is expected that the lanky Hyderabadi pacer Mohammed Siraj will play the eliminator against Lucknow Supergiants. If RCB can win the title from being placed at the 4th position in the points table, it will only be the 2nd instance in IPL history that a team wins 3 straight games to win the trophy after SRH who did it in 2016.
