In a major blow to the West Indies team campaign in the T20 World Cup, Fabian Allen will not be available throughout the tournament due to ankle injury. In place of him, Akeal Hossein has been included in the main squad.
Originally, Akeal Hossein was in the reserves list of the T20 World Cup team. Now, Gudakesh Motie, who was impressive for Guyana Amazon Warriors in the CPL 2021 has been named as Hossein’s replacement in the reserves list of West Indies team.
