WBBL Sydney Sixers injury report
In a big blow, the WBBL Sydney Sixers skipper and all-rounder Ellyse Perry has suffered a low-grade AC injury to her right shoulder which will keep her off the field for 1 to 3 weeks. Her injury was confirmed by the Sydney Sixers women team management.
The all-rounder picked up the injury while falling heavily on her shoulder in Sydney Sixers previous fixture against Melbourne Renegades women. She won’t be featuring in the match against Hobart Hurricanes women on Wednesday i.e. 20th November.
She was seen on the field even after falling down but was in a serious discomfort all throughout the game.

Injury not so serious
Ellyse Perry’s injury is not serious to a big extent as she will be back on the field in the December’s final if Sydney Sixers qualify for the same. If we talk about their current standings on the points table, they are placed third with 6 wins from 9 matches which has led them to grab 12 points.
In her absence, wicket-keeper Alyssa Healy is the front runner to don the captain’s hat, however, no official call has been made regarding this role.
