The Indian captain has reached a new low in his career after enduring a disastrous tour in a very long time. The #1 batsman in the world cricket came into the tour with a lot of expectations surrounding him.
Although the champion player had no point in proving to anyone, it was important to India that they wanted their captain Virat Kohli to stay in the wicket and get huge runs but it didn’t happen to be so.
Another in-swinger getting the better of Virat Kohli
The Indian captain is in the worst possible mind space at present. He has scored buckets of runs in almost all the countries he played and countered all the best bowling attacks in their own den. If anything, one cannot fault his technique for this bad phase.
It is the mindset of Virat Kohli that is undoing him and he needs one good knock with runs from his bat in full flow to regain his beast mode.
In the 2nd test, India badly needed Virat Kohli to step up but was undone by the dibbly-dobbly bowler Colin de Grandhomme who made one to cut back in that was too much for Virat Kohli.
