India and South Africa are two nations who have produced some cricketers for ages. These 2 cricket crazy nations have always shared good relationships on and off the field. One of the main reason for that is the introduction of Indian premier league which has improved the rapport between players from different countries.
Mr.360 as fondly called by his fans all over the world, Ab de Villiers is one of the best batsman across eras and probably the #1 batsman the South Africans have ever produced. He was utterly dominant when he played for South Africa and murdered every bowler who challenged him.
These two iconic players in Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers have picked an all time combined India- South Africa XI in their recent instagram live session and there are some interesting names in it.
MS Dhoni to lead the star studded side
The 2 time world cup winning captain in Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the astute cricketing brains to have ever come from India and the numbers back him up in the limited overs cricket. It was a no brainer for ABD and Virat to pick MS Dhoni as their wicket-keeper as well captain of the team.
No place for Virender Sehwag and Graeme Smith
Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma will be opening the innings in this combined XI which leaves no space for some of the greats like Graeme Smith, Hashim Amla and Virender Sehwag, and Sourav Ganguly.
The middle order is packed with astounding cricketers in Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Jacques Kallis. The southpaw in Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni will look after the finishing duties which rounds up the gun batting department.

Yuzvendra Chahal makes the cut
India’s leading leg spinner at present in Yuzvendra Chahal has made it to this combined XI who will be the lone torch bearer in the spin department. The fast bowling department will be handled by Dale Steyn, Kagiso Rabada, and Jasprit Bumrah to round it off this terrifying playing XI.
They also named the world cup winning coach in Gary Kirsten as the head coach of the team along with Jonty Rhodes as the fielding coach who is regarded as the best fielder in world cricket.
