About the 1 ton pick up Nissan Jonga

The Nissan Jonga was built by the Indian Army based on Nissan’s global SUV called the Patrol 60. It was earlier used to issue a contract for a Jeep-type vehicle that could be used by the military, police as well as fire and health workers.

After the first-gen 4W60 model was designed, tested and approved for these purposes, Nissan renamed it the Patrol and offer it to civilians in its home country as well as around the world. The one Dhoni has bought is based on the 1999 model.

Although long forgotten, the tough and veteran vehicle has once again made a comeback in the people’s memory, all thanks captain cool MS Dhoni.

Sold in India, the car is a five-seater SUV from Jeep. The Trackhaw series is the most popular version of the Grand Cherokee. It is also the fastest mass-production SUV in the world. Another very powerful car in Dhoni’s possession is a Hummer H2 which barely needs any introduction.

Other popularly known cars in Dhoni’s garage are an Audi Q7, a Mitsubishi Pajero SFX, Land Rover Freelander 2, Mahindra Scorpio and Ferrari 599 GTO.
