He gave away 33 runs in his 4 overs to go with the all important wicket of Buttler. The dashing pacer bowled 3 overs in the power play and gave South Africa the perfect start with the ball
Earlier South Africa posted a par score of 177 runs with Temba Bavuma top-scoring for them as he missed his well-deserved half-century by 7 runs.
England started their chase in a blistering fashion with Roy scoring a 38 ball 70 runs knock. The England captain continued from where Roy left as he completed his half century in 34 balls but in the end wasn’t good enough to take his team past home.
