Pat Cummins recalls his stints with Kolkata Knight Riders

Pat Cummins is currently in India with touring Australian side. He received a replica of his shirt from his early days with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Cummins was part of KKR side during 2014 and 2015 seasons. Kolkata recently acquired the services of the Aussie pacer for this year’s IPL at a whopping price of INR 15.5 Crore.

Pat Cummins was seen sharing his experience at IPL with Kolkata franchise. He said that he had the experience of a lifetime during 2014 season. Notably, Kolkata Knight Riders went on to win the title in 2014 season and Cummins was a star performer for them in later part of the season.

He also thanked the fan and said that he is looking forward to April and to play in front of that massive Eden Gardens crowd. He is also challenging himself to help KKR add more stars on the jersey by winning the IPL this time around.

Pat Cummins becomes ‘Test cricketer of the year’

Pat Cummins beat his fellow Australians Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne to win Test cricketer of the year. He was highest wicket-taker in international cricket during last year. The 26-year-old played a decisive role in Australia retaining the Ashes on English shores.

He also had a decent world cup in Australia’s semifinal campaign. He is considered to be a future Australian captain by many experts.

Australia cruise home at Wankhede

There was no match between both the team at Wankhede in first ODI of the series. Australia decimated India to take 1-0 lead in 3 match series.
