Haris Rauf marked his comeback in style
Haris Rauf was signed by Glenn Maxwell led side Melbourne Stars for the Big Bash League 2019-20. He impressed with the ball in his debut game against Brisbane Heat by picking up 2 wickets. In the next game, he went a step further by picking up a fifer against Hobart Hurricanes helping Stars in registering a dominating victory.
However, despite the strong performances, he was dropped by the Stars from the squad for returning superstar Dale Steyn and Rauf missed next 2 games. But, Haris Rauf once again got the chance to play against Sydney Thunder due to Sandeep Lamichhane’s injury.
Haris Rauf didn’t disappoint and celebrated his comeback in style by clinching 3 wickets, uprooting the stumps of two batsmen in process.

What’s Next for Haris Rauf?
The lanky pacer from Pakistan will hope to continue his purple patch. He already has 10 wickets in his kitty. He now is sitting on the 3rd position in the highest wicket-getters list this season. The noticeable fact here is that Rauf has played only 3 games and he only trails the highest wicket-taker by 2 wickets. Moreover, he has the best economy rate, best average, and best strike rate among the top-5 bowlers this season.
