The 2019 edition of IPL will kickstart in a week and all teams are busy preparing for this iconic T20 tournament. Former India captain and Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is gearing up as well for IPL and he showcased his preparations by raining sixes with ease during the practice session.
MS Dhoni goes berserk, clobbers sixes at will
MS Dhoni has remained the talisman for CSK since 2008 and the wicket-keeper batsman has played several match-winning knocks for the franchise.
Over the years, Dhoni has restricted his big-hitting game in international cricket but in IPL he has often scored briskly which is his natural game.
And he showed no signs of slowing down as he practised big hitting in the nets.

In the video posted on Twitter by Chennai Super Kings’ official account, the CSK skipper is seen playing plenty of big shots. The wicket-keeper batsman is hammering sixes to all parts of the ground and is tearing apart every bowler.

The 2019 edition of IPL will start from March 23 and the first match of this year’s IPL will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

CSK are the defending champions of IPL as Dhoni led the franchise to their third IPL title in 2018. Along with the legendary wicket-keeper CSK also has Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayadu, Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo, Kedar Jadhav and Ravindra Jadeja in their ranks which makes them one of the strongest teams in this year’s IPL.
IPL’s schedule for the first two weeks has been announced so far and the remaining schedule for 2019 will be announced by in the next few days.
