The 50-over World Champions have bounced back in style to level the series in the 2nd T20I when they escaped with a 2 run victory over the hosts South Africa.
England were outstanding with the bat after the South African skipper Quinton de Kock asked them to bat first.
Moeen Ali’s blitzkrieg at Kingsmead
The all-rounder from England made the Proteas suffer big time when he smashed the bowlers all over the park for his 11 ball 39 runs knock. He just seemed to enjoy his time at the crease and middled almost every ball including the one he got out to.

England were in a spot of bother when Moeen Ali came into bat. The premium all-rounder Stokes was running out of partners at the other end with Eoin Morgan and Joe Denly getting out in quick succession but it was the partnership between Moeen Ali and Stokes that meant real business for the Poms as they helped England to storm past the 200 runs mark.
Last-minute choke from Proteas gives England a win
South Africa started their innings with a massive target to chase in front of them. The captain Quinton and Temba Bavuma gave them a match-winning start with de Kock thrashing each and every ball that was bowled at him. In the end the skipper de Kock departed for a swashbuckling 22-ball 65 runs that included as much as 8 maximums in it.
It was expected to be a cakewalk for the Proteas considering the start they got but a middle-order collapse saw them needing 15 runs from the final over.
South Africa had a well set Rassie van der Dussen and Pretorius to take South Africa home and the responsibility to defend 15 runs in the final over was handed over to Tom Curran
The all-rounder Pretorius brought down the equation to 3 runs from 2 balls with 2 lusty blows early in the over but Tom Curran made a dramatic turnaround with 2 wickets in the final 2 balls of the over thereby giving England a series-levelling victory.
