The Indian skipper is a live wire in the field and there is nothing new in that but today Virat again made a stunning effort to remove the dangerous Kiwi opener Munro.
Kohli flying like a superman
Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bat first to everybody’s surprise. Indian bowlers tied the New Zealand openers and applied pressure by not allowing them to score freely. Shardul Thakur picked up the wicket of Guptill in the power play and New Zealand were not getting the required momentum in their innings. The all-rounder Shivam Dube was given the ball after the power play and he responded with a wicket of Munro, thanks to some inhuman stuff from the Indian captain Virat Kohli

Dream spell from Ravindra Jadeja
Indian bowlers were fantastic today and didn’t allow the New Zealand batsmen to score runs at a rapid pace. The pitch which is used for the 2nd time in 3 days showed some respite for the bowlers as the pitch had moisture in it which in turn helped the bowlers big time. The ball was stopping in the pitch and batsmen found it difficult to time the ball.
Indians who had firm control over the Kiwis till the 10th over mark owned the match completely after the introduction of Ravindra Jadeja. Ravindra Jadeja was unplayable and finished with 2 wickets in his 4 overs and gave away just 18 runs. He took the all-important wicket of Kane Williamson and the dangerous Colin de Grandhomme. Ravindra Jadeja has justified his place in the T20I set up in a fine manner.
India restricted New Zealand for 132 runs in their 20 overs on a tricky wicket.
