Mumbai Indians were outplayed by the batting heroics of Joss Butler on Sunday night and were defeated by Rajasthan Royals.
Although, they are still alive in the tournament, their road to playoffs have become more twisted.
The Rohit-Sharma led team is currently sitting at the fourth spot and they missed an opportunity to keep their momentum going and suffered a loss at Wankhede.
MI put to bat first, started off well but lost wickets quite early.
They managed to post a total of 168 runs in their 20 overs.
Mumbai Indians were not at their best last night but some of the performers managed to turn a few heads, Hardik Pandya being one of them.
An impressive event happened during the 14th over when Pandya was left in the pitch confused, and he almost lost his wicket.
However, Pandya pulled off a sliding tackle just in time to save himself from getting a run-out.
