WATCH: AUS take bizarre LBW review even as batsman middles ball

Australia have taken the most funniest review when they decided to send the matter to the third umpire after the on-field umpire gave not-out but the ball was nowhere near to the pad and have wasted a review out of desperation.

England won the toss and decided to bat first on a good batting wicket in the all important game. Both the teams had a win under their name coming into this game and Australia pushed England to backfoot in the very first over of the game when Mitchell Starc struck twice in 2 balls to dismiss Jason Roy and Joe Root in the first 2 balls of the game.
England captain Eoin Morgan and in-form Jonny Bairstow tried to rescue their team but Adam Zampa removed Eoin Morgan in the 11th over of the innings and it was Jonny Bairstow show all the way through.
In the 19th over of the innings, Jonny Bairstow defended a straight ball of Adam Zampa for which Aaron Finch decided to review it only to waste a review.

Dramatic turnaround by Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey

Australia were asked to chase 303 to win the series and grab 10 points in the ODI super league and they were reduced to 74 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Australia had no business winning the game but that’s when the big show Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey joined hands to play the knocks of their lifetime as they stitched together a partnership of massive 212 run partnership to take their team home from nowhere.
Glenn Maxwell scored 108 runs and the wicket keeper batsman Alex Carey smashed 106 runs. The right left combination made Eoin Morgan to scratch his head and both the batsmen batted sensibly by playing risk free cricket. England have lost their first ODI series at home after 5 years.
