IPL 2021: Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood pulled out of IPL 2021 citing reasons to remain fresh for international demands. It was a blow for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who could use every resource on their roster after an underwhelming IPL 2020 campaign as MS Dhoni and Co aim to regain their aura of invincibility.
Although CSK has said that they are not hard-pressed to name the replacement for Hazlewood as of now, Afghanistan young sensation Fazalhaq Farooqi was roped in as a net bowler for the IPL 2021 season, making many believe that he could be named in as a perfect substitute for Hazlewood, depending on his confidence and performance in the nets.

The IPL 2021 is all set to start with the game between defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and three-time losing finalists Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 9. MI are once against odds-on favourites to lift the title this season as well.
CSK on the other hand will kick off their IPL 2021 campaign with the game against last season’s runners-up Delhi Capitals on April 10. Dhoni will demand nothing less than 100% from his players after the uncanny failures of last season. And a good start can set the foundations for a good season.
