Two of the greatest batsmen of their respective generations Virat Kohli and Kevin Pietersen share a good relationship outside the cricket field as well. “Shave your beard off”.
Kevin Pietersen posted a teasing remark under Kohli’s instagram post and it didn’t go well with Indian captain Virat Kohli, who hit back with a reply:
“@kp24 better than your TikTok videos”.
This Instagram banter between the two legendary batsmen have sent their fans into a frenzy.
These two have engaged in social media battles even before. During the earlier days of lockdown when Kohli decided to style his beard and shared a video on Instagram explaining what he did, Pietersen came out to start a banter between the two.
“Does it get rid of your grey there buddy?”
Pietersen commented on the video, referring to the few strands of grey hair in his beard that have become quite prominent since he has become the torch bearer of the Indian cricket team.
Pietersen along with David Warner and Yuzvendra Chahal have found ways to keep themselves active during these quarantine days. They have been busy doing TikTok videos over the past two months.
Friendship that started in 2008
Kohli had played under the captaincy of Kevin Pietersen for RCB during the early days of the IPL. Since then they have been good friend on and off the field. Pietersen has also once mentioned that Kohli was a young prodigy and was very keen on learning things from the best in the bussiness like himself even back then in 2008-09.
Recently both of them interacted through a live instagram session wherein KP openly asked him about the title drought of RCB and various other questions.
