AB de Villiers is often called as the ‘Mr. 360-degree’ batsman or as the magician. The RCB batsman proved all these adjectives right as he played some outrageous cricket strokes during his incredible knock of 76 runs off 34 balls in the BLR vs KOL match in IPL 2021. And among these insane cricket strokes, one-shot saw ABD guiding a full-toss on body to third-man for a four. This stroke was so audacious that RCB skipper Virat Kohli jumped in ecstasy to express his reaction.

On the fifth ball of the 18th over, KKR all-rounder Andre Russell attempted an yorker against ABD. However, he missed the length and the ball ended up being a full-toss at an awkward height.
The ball was close to the body and was at an awkward height. Hence AB de Villiers had no room to free his arms. But ABD being ABD, he manufactured a stroke from nowhere. He adjusted himself effectively and leaned back to create some room. Then he used his bat to dab the ball to third-man fence. The RCB batsman made sure he played the ball fine enough to beat the short third man fielder.
