West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo on Monday praised Virat Kohli and called him the Christiano Ronaldo of cricket.
“Virat Kohli has played U-19 cricket with my brother Darren and I always ask him to look up to Virat. I am not saying this just because I am here,” he said.
“When I see Virat, I see Christiano Ronaldo of cricket. I personally asked Virat to talk to my brother about cricket,” he added.
Talking about his dedication to the game, Bravo asserted, “I really admire the talent he has for the game and the passion that he possess. I love to watch him play when he represents India or even RCB in the IPL.”
Bravo also performed a special song after New Era launched the signature headwear collection designed and conceptualized by Virat Kohli.
Kohli who was also present at the event revealed that he had gone to the office of New Era last year during Champions Trophy.
“I was involved in the cap designing process. I took out time when we were playing in the Champions Trophy in England for going to the office and meeting the team,” he said.
“I spent about three hours there going through all the materials of caps and designs,” he added.
