Opportunity for Gill and Vijay
Shubman Gill was the man of the tournament in the U-19 world cup last year which India won under Prithvi Shaw’s leadership.
Gill then made his first-class debut for Punjab and has impressed everyone by scoring plenty of runs in Ranji Trophy. The right-hand batsman has scored more than 1000 runs and averages 77.78 with a phenomenal strike rate of 77.28.
Great point Bish. Hugely talented. It will be interested to see who steps ahead over time Prithvi Shaw Or Shubman Gill. https://t.co/4rF7SRIOM5

Don’t want the opportunity to go: Gill
Gill is excited to play for India’s national team. While speaking with an online cricket portal he said that his only goal is that he doesn’t want to let the opportunity go if he gets selected in the XI.
He added that he will just see how the Indian captain Virat Kohli practises, the way he does his fitness work. He noted that he is looking forward to meeting everyone in the team.
