Video of New Zealand fan chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” in IND vs NZ T20I goes viral: Watch Now!

Indian cricket team might have won its first-ever T20I series in New Zealand yesterday, after the super-over but New Zealand people are still winning hearts overseas. A video of a New Zealand fan went viral on Wednesday who was chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jay’ at the 2nd T20I match between IND and NZ at Eden Park in Auckland.

The 15-second long video has got over 92,000 views where the white fan can be seen chatting with Indian fans, who first teach them how to say ‘Bharat’, then ‘Mata Ki’ and finally ‘Jai’. The fan eventually repeated the slogan and said ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. In between someone is heard saying ‘Inquilab Zindabad’!

Kiwis are too nice to be trolled

Before the Indian team boarded for their tour of New Zealand, the team skipper Virat Kohli was asked at a press conference, whether they would take revenge for their semifinal loss against the Kiwis at 2019 ODI World Cup in England last year.

On this, the captain replied that New Zealand guys were “so nice”. Kohli said, “even if you think about revenge, these guys are so nice….We get along really well with these guys and it’s all about just being competitive on the field. They are probably one side that has set the right example for teams to play at the international level… They are not nasty…”

Will India be able to whitewash the host in the five-match series?

With the third T20I win at Hamilton on Wednesday, India has also established its first-ever victory in New Zealand. Previously in total five matches, India was able to register a win in just one match. This time, however, the direction of the wind has changed, and India right now has won three consecutive wins in T20I.

This is the five-match series and the fourth T20 international will be played tomorrow on 31st January 2020, at Westpac Stadium, Wellington, New Zealand. Team India has been looking quite confident and has remained dominant till now, whether it is going to continue its splendid form in the next two matches or not, that will be interesting to watch.
