Venkatesh Prasad vs Aakash Chopra: Former Indian cricketers Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra aren’t keeping calm on Twitter. The two cricketers have been involved in an ugly spat over KL Rahul’s lackluster form and are opining their verdicts.

The debate started after KL Rahul once again failed in the Delhi Test of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy. Venkatesh wasn’t pleased with the fact that KL Rahul has been getting opportunities at will but has been failing innings after innings. Prasad has been severely critical over Rahul’s form and has been quite vocal on Twitter for the same, however, Aakash Chopra has a different opinion and it seems like the batter isn’t satisfied with Prasad’s comments on Rahul’s form.

Venkatesh Prasad has criticized Aakash Chopra for misquoting him during a debate about KL Rahul on Chopra’s YouTube show on Tuesday. Prasad has been highly critical of Rahul’s form in Test cricket and accused the Indian team of playing favourites. He argued that Rahul did not deserve a spot on the Indian Test XI and pointed out that Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan had performed well in the past but were not given enough opportunities.

Chopra responded to Prasad’s tweets by asking him not to tweet about Rahul during the ongoing match between India and Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Chopra also alleged that Prasad selectively presented statistics that supported his argument about Rahul and argued against them in a video titled ‘How Bad is KL Rahul’s Test Form?’
