Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been one of the revelations for Indian cricket Indians since the start of this year. The left-handed batsman has made his impact felt and has become the main batsman of the Indian set-up. The southpaw attracts viewers with his ability to score runs uniquely and is turning into a potential match-winner for his side. Despite getting dropped from India’s limited-overs set-up and getting trolled for his weight, the Delhi capitals skipper never lost hope and staged a comeback for ages.

Rishabh Pant is the only Asian wicketkeeper-batsman to notch up a century against both England and Australia in the longest format of the game in their backyard. 

The left-handed batsman smashed the fastest half-century at the U-19 level. He thumped Nepal bowlers in the U-19 World Cup and paved his way through the half-century in just 18 balls and ended up scoring 78 runs in just 24 balls in that match. 

Rishabh Pant holds the record for fastest century by an Indian player in the T20 format. He achieved this feat in just 32 balls during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy while playing for Delhi against Himachal Pradesh in the 2017/18 season. 

Rishabh Pant in 2018 became the third Indian player after Irfan Pathan and Cheteshwar Pujara to bag the ICC emerging player of the year award. 

Rishabh Pant also holds the record for the fastest century in the Ranji Trophy. He achieved this feat when he blasted a century in just 48 balls against Jharkhand in 2016.
