Virat Kohli is the first Indian batsman to score a hundred on his World Cup debut. He achieved this feat when he smashed a century against Bangladesh in the 2011 World Cup.
Virat Kohli holds the record for fastest century by an Indian batsman in ODI cricket. The right-handed batsman completed his hundred in 52 balls against Australia in 2013.
Virat Kohli has never been auctioned in the Indian Premier League as he was named as a catchment player for RCB in 2008 and since then has been retained in every IPL auction.
The Indian skipper is the first cricketer to take a wicket off the 0th ball in T20Is. Kohli achieved this unique feat when he bowled a wide ball to Kevin Pietersen in 2011 and the batsman missed and was stumped by keeper MS Dhoni.
The 32-year-old is the only cricketer in the world who has scored more than 500 runs in a bilateral ODI series. He achieved this feat in 2018 when he scored 548 runs against South Africa in 6 matches.
