He is currently part of the India squad for the ongoing New Zealand vs India three-match ODI series in the Kiwi nation. During the ongoing India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI in Christchurch, Umran has once again touched the 150 kmph mark on the speed gun in his impressive opening fast bowling spell.

During the recent IPL 2022 season, Umran Malik bowled the second fastest delivery when he clocked an astonishing speed of 154 kmph and since then he has been regularly hitting around the 150 kmph mark in international cricket as well.
