Ravi Shastri faces the brunt again
When India lost the Test series against England by 4-1, Ravi Shastri was on the receiving end of the Twitter. This time although India won the Asia Cup final, Twitter showed no mercy towards him and made Shastri a meme-material again.
This time he was trolled for a picture where Shastri’s eyes seems hazy during an interview with Kevin Pieterson.

Shastri remains in the spotlight for one reason, or the other and Twitterati keep taking digs at the Indian cricket team Head coach.
During the England tour, Shastri had called the current Indian squad the best touring team in the last 10-15 years, for which many former cricketers had lashed out at him. After a unsuccessful campaign in the Test series against England, Twitter had also demanded sacking of Ravi Shastri as the Indian coach and #SackRaviShastri was trending on Twitter.

However, Ravi Shastri had a successful campaign in the Asia Cup 2018 as the head coach where team India won the Asia Cup for the seventh time.
Shastri praises Rohit Sharma
“Rohit was a calming influence, and it completely reflected in his captaincy. To keep his intensity going even after the fight that Bangladesh showed. He was cool in every aspect of captaincy. I admire that,” the 56-year-old said.
On being questioned about the disappointing performance in England, Shastri reiterated that the scoreline does not show the reality of India’s performance in the Test series. “It is a completely different format, but I think everyone knows that we played well in England. However, the scorecard doesn’t show it. It is a different format, and we needed to start again,” he said.
India defeated Bangladesh by three wickets in the thrilling finale that went down to the final ball.
“The bowling changes he made were outstanding, to concede just around 100 runs in the last 30 overs, I thought it was brilliant,” Shastri said.
