Who will open the innings with Shafali? Velocity have a lot of options to pair Shafali up with at the top of the order. Captain Deepti Sharma has opened for a bit sometimes, so has Yastika Bhatia. But their latest overseas recruit Laura Woolvardt is expected to be the opening partner to Shafali considering her ability to play long innings.

Their bowling also looks strong with the likes of Kate Cross, Khaka and Radha Yadav forming the core.
