Top Indian Cricketers and their favorite food: As professional athletes, indulging in guilt food is a luxury top cricketers cannot afford. However, these are the food items that some of the country’s top cricketers enjoy on a cheat day.
1. VIRAT KOHLI
Virat Kohli, a fitness enthusiast, avoids eating three or four substantial meals each day in favour of several smaller ones. The former captain described his diet as consisting of “plenty of vegetables, some eggs, two cups of coffee, dal, quinoa, and loads of spinach” in an Instagram Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session.
Kohli’s go-to comfort food, though, continues to be chole bhature (leavened fried bread served with chickpea curry). It makes sense that when he learned that the Civil Line Wala restaurant in Delhi that served the meal had closed, he sent his driver to their location in Gurugram, Haryana, to bring the delicacy home.
2. ROHIT SHARMA
The vegetarian fast food meal vada pav is a specialty of the state of Maharashtra, where Indian captain Rohit Sharma, dubbed Hitman, hails from. The swashbuckling opener revealed in an Instagram chat that he loves vada pav so much that he used to consume them virtually daily in the beginning of his career. He also enjoys a variety of other food ranging from Chinese cuisine to Pav Bhaji and Misal Pav.Â
