Players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Martin Guptill will be eyeing team glory but will also be eying personal accolade as well. The set of players are currently in race to be the highest run-scorer in the T20 format at international level.

2. Martin Guptill
Rohit’s nearest rival is New Zealand’s Martin Guptill. The two will be involved in the race to be the leading run scorer in the format. currently Guptill has 3497 runs, and is only two runs behind the Rohit, having scored those runs in 121 matches. Martin has amassed two hundreds and 20 fifties and operates with a strike rate of over 135 in the format.

5. Aaron Finch
Australia’s Aaron Finch is fifth in the list of batsmen with most runs in T20I. The Aussie has scored 2855 runs so far in 92 matches.
In the top 10 standings of the highest run-scorers, India have only two players in the form of Rohit and Virat. Pakistan has three representatives in the form of Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik while New Zealand, England and Ireland have two players. Australia’s two representatives come in the form of Aaron Finch and David Warner.
